Item Condition Guide

At LDY, we want you to know exactly what you're buying. Every piece of vintage sportswear in our store is carefully inspected and graded on a scale of 1 to 10, so there are no surprises when your order arrives.

Here's a breakdown of what each grade means:

10/10 – Brand New

Unworn and in perfect condition, often with original tags still attached. No signs of wear, washing, or use whatsoever. As close to new as vintage gets.

9/10 – Excellent

Worn once or twice at most. No visible flaws, fading, or marks. Looks and feels essentially new.

8/10 – Very Good

Minimal signs of wear. May have very light fading or minor marks that are barely noticeable. A great everyday piece.

7/10 – Good

Shows some signs of previous wear — light fading, minor pilling, or small marks. Nothing that detracts significantly from the overall look.

6/10 – Good with Flaws

Noticeable wear such as moderate fading, light staining, or small repairs. All flaws are clearly described and photographed in the listing.

5/10 – Fair

Heavily worn with visible fading, staining, or distressing. Still wearable and full of character, but clearly a well-loved piece. Ideal for collectors or those who love a worn-in look.

Below 5/10

Items graded below 5 are sold as display pieces or for upcycling only. These will have significant damage, heavy staining, or structural issues and are not suitable for everyday wear.
